The Living Room

LA trip was a success, both on business and songwriting fronts:)  “Spinning On” is finished, and the previously unnamed “(New Blues-ish song)” I think is now going to be called “Mystified and Bruised”, and has some lyrics.

I ended up listening to some old live tracks from a few years ago on the flight back… most were recorded at the Living Room in NYC.  We started playing shows there before they moved to a larger space, and the new room in one of my favorites in NY.  It’s kind of the City’s songwriter’s central, and every night of the week you’re guaranteed to see an eclectic selection of quality musicians and songwriting.  Here’s a version of “Shoebox” taped at the Living Room from just before I moved to Chicago… great joint, great times.
